Sand Painting

A few year's back, the Dalai Lama came to visit New York. I recall that in his honor, a group of people worked for weeks to create an intricate picture made in sand. The idea was that it would be temporary, as everything is. At the end of the Dalai Lama's visit, the sand was cast off into New York harbor.

I'm was feeling cluttered yearning for a "zen" moment. I cast off my sand painting, too. I can always paint another.
